tMatsyaThe Telangana Govt. during the year 2017-18 has sanctioned Integrated Fisheries Development Scheme (IFDS) to Telangana State Fishermen Cooperative Societies Federation Ltd (TSFCOF), Hyderabad with a total Financial Outlay of Rs.1000.00 Crores for implementation during the year 2017-18 and 2018-19 for the benefit of members of the Primary Fishermen Cooperative Societies (PFCSs), Fisherwomen co-operative Societies, Fishermen Marketing Societies, District Fishermen Co-operative Societies and TSFCOF in all 31 districts of Telangana State. The main objectives are to achieve self-sufficiency in production of fish seed, stocking of quality fish seed in Minor, Medium and Major water bodies in sufficient quantities and to increase production and productivity by providing backward and forward linkages.The grounding of IFDS scheme is in progress and various assets are being distributed to the beneficiaries who have been given administrative sanction and paid their share of beneficiary contribution (25% of unit cost). This main purpose of ‘tMatsya’ app is to capture the grounding status along with the photograph of beneficiaries along with the assets that are being distributed. The ‘tMatsya’ app is only for the TSFCOF and Fisheries department officials of Telangana state.
